My Opinion About CinemaErotique:
We've been keeping our eye on Cinema Erotique for a few years now. We've revisited it a few times, too. We've always felt it had potential, yet we could never quite give it a high recommendation, at least until now. The producers have done a major overhaul of the site, so rather than simply do a brief update we felt it was worth doing a whole new review while addressing the major improvements they've made.
First off, CinemaErotique is a site featuring erotic, scripted movies directed by Cherry Chapman. The content is original and exclusive. The site has had a significant face-lift and these days the design is classy and sleek and the organization of the content inside the members' area is a whole lot easier to navigate. While there still aren't any bonus sites, this hardly matters because the site has an exceptionally reasonable price. Also, there are some exclusive extras that I don't recall being here before. First, there's the 'editing room'. Here you can read all of the original scripts and listen to original soundtrack music. There is a link to backstage content, although this portion of the site was under construction during our visit. There's also a forum these days, so if you want to post comments about the films, the actresses or even make a request, then this is the place to do it.
The other thing that's new around here are photos. In the past, there were only movies and I was exceptionally excited to see some really fabulous and erotic galleries. There are 33 sets, many of them natural outdoor or in-studio nudes. There are only about 10 or so images in each set, but they're terrific 1494x1000 shots that you can download. They definitely have that erotic thing going on. Sometimes the pictures are playful, other times they're steaming with sensuality and still other times they're just plain hotter than hell. Even though the pictures don't have titles, you can check the model directory to find out who the models are in your favourite sets.
The chicks on CinemaErotique.com are mostly natural long-haired blondes, short-haired brunettes or atypical Goth babes with hot bodies and pretty faces. Each of the 16 models has a profile page where you can learn their names, ages, astrological signs and they've each written a one or two line description of themselves or their experiences doing erotic movies.
Newest films are profiled under the heading of 'premiere' and if you want to see what's coming soon, then you can check out the 'trailers'. There aren't really any content dates. However, it looks like you can expect a new film every month. Currently, there are 29 full feature movies and 26 striptease shows. The teases are exactly what you might expect, models teasingly getting naked under sensual lighting to a music track. These are low and high-res Windows Media Videos and the chicks tease you for approximately four-minutes. Of course, the real payoff is the full-length scripted features, which are around 25-minutes long.
A title, models name, file size, type of action and a synopsis are all included. There's also a trailer and a few video captures that you can check out before downloading a film. There aren't any clips, but there's a choice between a low and high quality 2060kbps 640x480 WMV stream and download. I've never had a problem with the filmmaking on this site. There's always great lighting and framing, although I must admit that you can follow the progression of the director from her early films to the more current ones. There's a lot more sophistication in the style of the movies than there used to be.
The newest film is an interracial flick with a touch of light BDSM and in it a group of hot babes take full advantage of their black, well-hung, stud slave. There are lesbian, solo masturbation, lustful couples in steamy sex and even one movie features a more romantic first time sex encounter between a guy and gal. Storylines vary widely. One film is about a mail order bride, another is about what a shoplifting nun will do to stay out of jail. Narratives are completely unique and ever-changing and while some film stories are more serious, there are others that are a lot more humorous and playful. When it comes to sex you won't find extreme and lingering close-ups of penetration, but you will see couples fucking, it's just the angles and framing are a lot more artful, tasteful and less explicit than you'll find in reality, amateur or gonzo-style films.
Final Verdict:
I've held out a lot of hope for this site over the years and these days it surpasses my expectations. If you're looking for steamy sex scenes, an erotic film-style and creative storylines then there's little question that Cinema Erotique delivers. There could be more content, but for the price, the high production values and the originality that you're getting from every film, I don't think that waiting a month is much to ask for such unique films and high quality.
